DIY DECADENT FLORAL ARRANGEMENT

Festivities are close and we can already see Christmas lights, trees and decorations everywhere. Yay! I'm one of those persons who take Christmas so seriously (read= I start thinking about the next on 26th of December) and everything connected to it has something special to me. I'm planning new Christmas posts for you guys (this from last year is still one of my favourite posts evah): the first is an original floral arrangement, but with a decadent soul. Cause nothing prevents us to be original when it comes to traditions!

When I created this floral arrangement, I would make something perfect not only for
Christmas, but generally for the cold seasons. For a Winter wedding, for example, or
for a beautiful, decadent, touch for your house.
This will take you only few minutes to make and the final effect, IMHO, is
totally wow. If you like it, read the whole process!
//

***

You need // Vi occorre:

- Ivy. // Edera.
- Japanese maple leaves. // Foglie di acero Giapponese.
- Pine cones. // Pigne.
- Pine sprigs. // Rametti di pino.
- Pot pourri and other ornaments, if you like, but remember to focus on few colors. //
- A beautiful cup (this will be the heart of your decoration). // Una bella coppa
(sarà la protagonista della vostra compisizione).
- Floral foam. // Spugna per fiori.
- Scotch tape. // Nastro adesivo.

How to // Come procedere:

1)
Fix the floral foam to the cup with scotch tape.

2)
Start filling starting from the biggest pieces.

3)
Add the ivy, piercing the floral foam. Let the sprigs fall down from the cup and adjust
them with scissors to give the length you want.

4)
Now add the smallest pieces, covering all the empty spaces. // Ora riempite con i pezzi
più piccoli, coprendo gli spazi vuoti.

5)
Voilà! Do you like the final result? // Voilà! Vi piace il risultato finale?

I like the way it is different from other floral arrangements,
because of its decadent touch (I'm so in love with that style lately!).
The combination dark green-red-brown-silver gives something opulent to the final result
that I truly love for Fall and Winter. What do you think about?
Can't wait to know your thoughts!
//
